Distribución espacial y Estructura poblacional de Emerita Rathbunae (CRUSTACEA: DECAPODA) en Playas de Villamil, Provincia del Guayas - Ecuador.

Resumen
La presente investigación describe la distribución espacial y la estructura poblacional de Emerita rathbunae en Playas de Villamil durante el mes de diciembre de 2017. Se colectaron un total de 117 individuos, 110 hembras y 7 machos, se le registró la longitud del cefalotórax (LC), peso total (PT) y sexo. La talla y peso de las hembras osciló entre los 40-75 mm LC y de 3-27 gr PT. En los machos la LC máxima fue 41.5 mm y el peso fue 6.2 gr PT. Se puede concluir que los datos sobre densidad dieron como resultado 0.41 (ind/0.465m2), para determinar el patrón de distribución se realizó la prueba de la razón varianza/media, donde se encontró que E. rathbunae tiene una distribución espacial tipo agregada, la relación LC-PT se la realizó mediante una regresión potencial (y=a.xb) y nos indicó que la especie presenta un crecimiento alométrico negativo, en la proporción sexual se utilizó la prueba teórica (1:1) dando un resultado mayor en hembras de (15.7:1). Finalmente, se recomienda ampliar el estudio por un periodo anual tomando en cuenta época seca y lluviosa para poder analizar no solo la estructura de tallas y la distribución durante la misma, sino también observar su crecimiento, reproducción, hábitos alimenticios entre otros.
This research describes the spatial distribution and population structure of Emerita rathbunae in Playas de Villamil during the month of December 2017. A total of 117 individuals, 110 females and 7 males were collected, the length of cephalothorax (LC) was recorded, total weight (PT) and sex. The size and weight of the females varied between 40-75 mm LC and 3-27 g PT, in the males the maximum LC was 41.5 mm and the weight was 6.2 gr PT. It can be concluded that the data on density was result 0.41 (ind/0.465m2), to determine the distribution pattern, the variance/mean ratio test was performed, where it was found that E. rathbunae has an aggregate type spatial distribution, the LC- PT was performed by means of a potential regression (y=a.xb) and indicated that the species shows a negative allometric growth, in the sexual proportion the theoretical test was used (1:1) giving a higher result in females of (15.7:1). Finally, it is recommended to extend the study for an annual period taking into account dry and rainy season to analyze not only the size structure and distribution during the same, but also observe their growth, reproduction, eating habits among others.
