Propuesta urbano arquitectónica de un museo al aire libre en el Cerro del Carmen

Resumen
En el cerro del Carmen en la provincia del Guayas, actualmente existe un deterioro en sus escalinatas, aceras, calles, carece de equipamiento urbano, índice de inseguridad elevado, infraestructura sanitaria en mal estado, es considerado como un sector peligroso de la ciudad, a pesar de ser un lugar donde se inició Guayaquil.
Es por esto; y por un sinnúmero de condicionantes más, que tiene una baja afluencia turística; en vista de esto, para mejorar la calidad de vida de los moradores del sector y recuperar el valor patrimonial con el que cuenta el cerro del Carmen debido a su lugar en la historia de la ciudad de Guayaquil, se propone realizar un museo al aire libre, que atraviese las fachadas no intervenidas del cerro y que rememore la arquitectura patrimonial de la ciudad. Se necesita realizar un estudio de la infraestructura del sector, solucionar los problemas de servicios básicos que aquejan al mismo, y reactivar y promover métodos comerciales y turísticos que generen oportunidades laborales, para incluir a la ciudadanía en la recuperación del cerro del Carmen.
